I'm Gil

I’m a Chicago-based product designer with a passion for crafting intuitive and impactful user experiences. I bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, user empathy, and technical expertise to every project I undertake. With a recently completed Master’s in Information Design and Strategy from Northwestern University, I’ve honed my ability to craft meaningful, data-driven, and user-focused designs.

My career has been rooted in design, spanning roles at CNH Industrial, where I developed agriculture and vehicle management platforms, to my most recent role at Initialized Capital, where I designed an internal tool to support investment decisions and portfolio management.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to inclusive, trustworthy, and considerate design. I strive to ensure my designs:

Beyond my professional endeavors, I’m deeply passionate about restoring classic cars, exploring the intricacies of watchmaking, and playing guitar. Whether it’s refining a user journey or tuning up a vintage vehicle, I approach every challenge with curiosity, care, and a desire to create something meaningful.
